Company Background #
WEISUN was founded in 1976 as an OEM manufacturer for domestic drying equipment makers. After the 2008 financial turmoil, the company decided to build its own brand, WEISUN, and shifted from OEM to OBM manufacturing. Its official history states that OEM work was gradually reduced to 5% and that all machines are now produced in Taiwan.
The company serves semiconductor, electronics, and optoelectronics customers and reports support from Taiwan’s Ministry of Economic Affairs technology research and development programmes. Its awards include the Golden Torch Award, Innovation Research Award, National Brand Yushan Award, and Taiwan Excellence Award.
